More people are buying locally made products because they are looking for ‘authentic experiences,’ says Alice Pearce, executive director of NH Made, the organization that promotes and markets New Hampshire-made goods and services.

Radio is ‘for some people, companionship, and I think for a lot of charitable organizations, local radio has become a trusted partner. And for a lot of businesses, local radio has become a valued advertising resource,’ says Ray Garon, former longtime general manager of WZID and three other Manchester radio stations.

If it is allowed to continue, Medicaid expansion should be instrumental in reducing the number of opioid-related deaths in New Hampshire, says Michele Merritt, policy director for the organization New Futures.
