Verizon Wireless broadband expands in N.H.

Verizon Wireless has extended its wide-area wireless broadband services in Manchester, Nashua, Concord and more than a dozen surrounding towns.

Verizon Wireless provides high-speed wireless broadband network services at average connection speeds of 400 to 700 kilobits per second.

Verizon customers can connect to the Internet using a wireless PC card that slides into their laptops to connect to the telecommunication company’s wireless broadband network.

“This expansion is part of our continuing focus on investing in our network reliability and providing innovative high-speed data services to our customers across the country and right here in New Hampshire,” said Bob Stott, New England region president for Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Wireless’ coverage expansion in New Hampshire includes: Auburn; Bedford; Brentwood; Chester; Concord; Derry; Goffstown; Hampstead; Hooksett; Hudson; Kingston; Litchfield; Londonderry; Manchester; Merrimack; Nashua; Salem; Pelham; Plaistow; Suncook; and Windham.

The service also is available between Seabrook and Portsmouth along the Interstate 95/Route 1 corridor, including the towns of Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, New Castle and North Hampton as well as Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. — CINDY KIBBE
