Time remains to sign up for Job Fair

A limited number of openings remain for businesses seeking to take part in the Regional Job Fair scheduled for next week in Concord.

The fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 at the National Guard State Armory located in Concord.

The Job Fair, developed by the Governor’s Commission on Disability in coordination with the New Hampshire Business Resource Center, New Hampshire Employment Security/NH Works, the New Hampshire Division of Personnel and the New Hampshire Division of Vocational Rehabilitation’s Concord Regional Office, is designed to connect skilled workers with local companies looking for employees.

Employers interested in participating will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses and to meet with hundreds of potential new employees.

Businesses interested in taking part can bring display materials, tabletop booths and applications – tables and chairs will be provided to all exhibitors as well as power, if needed.

Applicants will be prepared to fill out job applications on site. Participation in the Job Fair is free of charge to any interested company – free lunch will be provided to all company representatives in attendance.
