HEALTH CARE
Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth has announced that Craig Williams, MBA, FACHE, will begin his new role as president and CEO of Speare on June 1, following the retirement of Michelle McEwen, CPA, FACHE. Williams has served in executive roles at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, Northeast Hospital Corporation, Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, and most recently, Cook County Health, where he served as executive chief operating officer.
Heidi Morrison, a resident of Dover, was recently selected for the Excellence in Leadership award while supporting Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit (NMRTU) in Portsmouth. Morrison served in the Navy for 20 years and retired from active duty as a lieutenant commander. Morrison has been a government employee for seven years and now serves as a registered nurse at Naval Branch Health Clinic Portsmouth. According to Navy officials, NMRTU Portsmouth’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high-quality health care services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
Concord Hospital Health System has been awarded the American Heart Association (AHA) All-Star Training Center Recognition, given to organizations that consistently meet or exceed AHA standards for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care instruction, maintain outstanding program compliance, and achieve strong performance metrics in training quality and certification outcomes.
Gwendolyn (Wendy) Barros, MD, has been awarded the Excellence in Leadership Award presented by New Hampshire Psychiatric Society (NHPS). Barros has served within the Claremont office of West Central Behavioral Health for her entire career, which is ending in June. She has also served as the psychiatrist working with Pathways clients (individuals with developmental disabilities) who also have psychiatric illness.
Granite VNA, New Hampshire’s largest nonprofit home health and hospice agency, has promoted Nicholas Heafield PT, DPT, to home care manager and hired Tammy Martel, RN, as hospice community manager. Heafield previously served as a staff physical therapist, and Martel served as a community hospice nurse and most recently worked at Presidential Oaks in Concord.
Dartmouth Health’s Chief Communications and Marketing Officer Jennifer Gilkie was recently named to the 2026 Chief Marketing Officers to Know list by Becker’s Hospital Review. Gilkie was the only hospital communications executive from New Hampshire on the list of 96 officers. Gilkie joined Dartmouth Health in 2017.
LAW
Attorney Robin Rodriguez has joined Downs Rachlin Martin’s PLLC Litigation Team as an associate, bringing to the role extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, immigration law and criminal matters. She earned her J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law and her Masters of Law in International Commercial Arbitration from Stockholm University.

The law firm of McLane Middleton announced that attorneys Aaron R. Fenton, Nancy N. Keller-Go and Victoria R. Poland have been admitted to the New Hampshire State Bar. Fenton is a member of McLane Middleton’s Litigation Department; Keller-Go is a director in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department; and Poland is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and Real Estate Practice Group.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
Bank of New Hampshire’s Wealth Management division has been selected by the readers of New Hampshire Magazine as “Best of NH 2026” for Best Financial Planner. With assets exceeding $2.5 billion and 21 banking offices across New Hampshire and southern Maine, the bank provides deposit, lending and wealth management solutions for families and businesses.
Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) has appointed Rick Alpers, member services manager for NH Public Risk Management Exchange (Primex3), to its board of directors. He previously served as a corporator for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), the share services organization supporting MVSB. Prior to joining Primex3, he served as a town administrator and as a member of the board of selectmen in Bristol for 15 years.
John Troiano, managing director of investments at Navigator Wealth Advisory Group, has been named to Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list for the sixth consecutive year (2021-2026).
Elliott Hale has joined St. Mary’s Bank as business development officer. In 2019, he joined Bar Harbor Bank, where he served as a multi-site branch manager and later as a small business lender.
In 2025, he purchased and operated Morgan Hill Bookstore in New London with his wife.
Ledyard Wealth Management has appointed Karissa McDonough, CFA, as chief investment officer and senior vice president. She succeeds Doug Phillips, who will transition to the role of chief investment officer emeritus. Most recently, she was senior vice president and fixed income strategist at Nottingham Advisors.
Chad Revilla has joined the Kennebunk Savings as a residential lending officer, bringing nearly two decades of experience in mortgage lending, customer service and community banking across New England. He most recently served as a mortgage loan officer at Washington Trust in Newfields.
Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) has promoted Ella Duggan to branch and business development manager. Duggan joined The Merrimack in 2019, starting at the Bow branch as teller before being promoted to universal banker. In 2024, she moved to the Contoocook branch, where she most recently served as branch services manager.
EDUCATION
Nashua Community College will offer a new associate degree for fall 2026: Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Graduates with this degree will be prepared for entry-level positions or management training opportunities in banking, insurance, investments, corporate finance and nonprofit organizations.
Alfred Williams, president of River Valley Community College (RVCC), has announced that he will retire in July. Williams has served as president of the college since 2018. Williams, a native of Rhode Island, worked in the Connecticut community college system before coming to the Granite State to assume the role of president at RVCC.
CONSTRUCTION
ReArch Construction recently welcomed new professionals to its team: Shannon Spaulding as estimating coordinator, Jeff Gregory as project manager II and Amanda Savage as director of business development.
AMCON has announced the expansion of its commercial construction management and general contracting services into Northern New England with an office in Portsmouth, bringing its experience managing complex commercial projects to businesses and developers throughout the New Hampshire, Maine and Southern Vermont region. AMCON manages projects across multiple sectors including retail, hospitality, institutional and civic, mixed-use/multi-unit and corporate.
PROCON, New England’s largest single-source design and construction management firm, announced that several members of its leadership team have been appointed to boards across New Hampshire. Erik Anderson, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, has been appointed to the board of directors of AIA New Hampshire, the state chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Ben Saturley, senior vice president of field operations, has joined the board of directors of Bring Back the Trades. And, Michael Yeatman, chief construction officer, has been appointed to the board of directors of Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT.
MANUFACTURING
EPTAC, a global leader in electronics manufacturing training and The Global Electronics Association’s (GEA) IPC certification, is expanding its corporate headquarters and training facility at 7 Stiles Road, Suite 300, in Salem. For more than 35 years, EPTAC has trained professionals who design, build, inspect and manage electronic assemblies for industries including medical, defense and aerospace.
BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS
CGI Business Solutions has welcomed Ryan Pothier to a newly created role as director, strategic growth initiatives. Previously with Anthem NH, he brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning both sales and executive strategy roles. In this role, Pothier will work closely with CGI president and CEO Dan Cronin and COO Sarah Hayes to identify, develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth across the organization.
Tree-Free Greetings, the leader in sustainable, American-made greeting cards, has appointed Adam Sigel as CEO, succeeding founder Steve Silverstein, who will transition to a seat on the company’s board of directors. Sigel most recently served as president and CEO of JK Adams, a Vermont-based kitchenware manufacturer.
NONPROFITS
The North Country Kitchen Collective (NCKC) is a new nonprofit that recently opened in northern New Hampshire. Its mission is to support local food and agricultural entrepreneurs in the White Mountains region by providing access to a fully licensed shared commercial kitchen, technical resources and a collaborative environment that helps small food businesses launch and grow. NCKC is currently raising funds for the build-out of the shared commercial kitchen space, which will be located behind The Place Above The Notch at 2061 Main Street in Bethlehem. Community members are welcome to sponsor the purchase of a specific piece of equipment, and restaurants are also welcome to reach out if they have unused commercial kitchen appliances and equipment that they are no longer using.
Families in Transition announced that president and CEO Maria Devlin will step down from her role. Devlin assumed the role in June 2020, guiding the organization through the Covid-19 pandemic and helping to expand its impact by growing affordable permanent housing, increasing emergency shelter capacity for individuals and families, enhancing services and infrastructure at the Adult Emergency Shelter and opening an expanded food pantry in downtown Manchester. Devlin will remain in her role while the board of directors conducts a national search for her successor.
Catholic Charities NH has received a $20,000 grant from the Mary Gale Foundation to support its CareGivers program. The grant will provide essential services for low-income women age 65 and older in Greater Manchester. The program offers rides to medical appointments, monthly food deliveries and emotional support, helping seniors who are homebound or disabled maintain their independence and continue living safely at home.
TECHNOLOGY
L3Harris Technologies — which has an office in Londonderry — has been selected by the U.S. Army to provide its NOVA night-vision goggle system to support the Binocular Night Observation Device (BiNOD) program.
The Army awarded a seven-year contract worth up to $465 million to L3Harris, one of several companies chosen to support the program. NOVA, which integrates L3Harris’s image intensifier technology, is a helmet-mounted binocular device providing all-hour, all-weather situational awareness for the U.S. military and allies.
REAL ESTATE
Portside Real Estate Group has welcomed Giselle Caridi to its Kennebunk, Maine, office. The company is a woman-owned, independent brokerage firm with over 200 agents across Maine and New Hampshire.
REMAX Shoreline has recognized Andy Yau, a real estate agent licensed in New Hampshire, with a Torchbearer by REMAX LLC award, an honor given to proficient REMAX agents under 40 across the U.S. and Canada earned through exceptional performance and strong leadership within their offices.
Leadership New Hampshire (LNH) will honor Tom Raffio, ‘97, president and CEO of Northeast Delta Dental, with the Cotton Mather Cleveland Leadership Award at its Class of 2026 Graduation & Alumni Celebration on May 28. The award recognizes individuals whose contributions reflect the highest standard of leadership and commitment to the state of New Hampshire. Since starting his current role at Northeast Delta Dental in 1995, he has led decades of growth and transformation, expanding the organization’s reach across northern New England and strengthening its role as a leading health benefits provider. Over more than two decades, he led efforts to expand adult Medicaid dental benefits, helping secure access to care for thousands of residents across the state. Raffio has long been an active civic leader, serving in volunteer leadership positions across health care, education, the arts and nonprofit organizations.
