HEALTH CARE
Granite VNA has hired Sandra Jobe as the new vice president of human resources. Jobe brings over 20 years of experience to the agency, including her most recent roles at PPC Structurals, Inc. and Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., where she worked as the area human resources manager for over 13 years.
FedPoint, a Portsmouth-based benefits marketplace operator and third-party administrator, has announced the recipients of the 2026 FedPoint Nursing Scholarship: Brooklynn Lamke, Lenox Memorial High School; Tyanna Gero, Waterville Senior High School; Peyton Kopp, licensed nursing assistant at Elliot Hospital; and Krysti Hall, caregiver and medical technician, Boardman College. Selected from more than 350 applicants, each awardee will receive $5,000 towards pursuit of their licensure as registered nurses (RNs).
AmeriHealth Caritas New Hampshire has named Robert Slattery as market president. Slattery is a health care executive with more than 25 years of experience across Medicaid, Medicare and commercial markets, most recently working as founder, president and CEO of Allons!Health. He also previously held leadership roles at Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee.
ConvenientMD Primary Care has added three new primary care providers to its Portsmouth practice: Beth Remillong, MD; Dorothy McGrath, PA-C; and Marcy Starling, PA-C. All three providers will start seeing patients on August 4.
Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services (HCS) has appointed Karen Gomes, RN, MS, COS-C, as its president and CEO. She served as interim CEO upon the retirement of Maura McQueeney in November 2025. Gomes previously ran her own consulting business, RN Answers, LLC, and served as president and CEO of Tufts Medicine Care at Home.
Concord Hospital has been reverified as a Level II trauma center by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT). This designation declares that Concord Hospital provides initial trauma care for a wide range of injuries as well as education, system leadership and disaster planning throughout the community.
BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS
Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce President John Nyhan was selected as one of 34 chamber executives from across the country to participate in the Master Class on Building Business Leadership for K-12 Data, Assessment, and Accountability, led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The program, taking place in Washington, D.C., brought together national experts and chamber leaders to collaborate on strengthening the connection between education systems and workforce needs.
Fully Promoted of Southern NH (FPSNH), a branded apparel and promotional products supplier, recently announced its move to a larger facility at 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 102, in Bedford. Owned and operated by New Hampshire locals, Sal and Jennifer Calautti, the new space features an expanded showroom and production area, increasing the company’s capacity to provide promotional and custom branding solutions for the New Hampshire business community.
CONSTRUCTION
Metro Walls — a commercial framing, drywall, acoustical and specialties contractor in the Northeast — has expanded its team with the additions of Matt Morissette and Paulo Silva as estimators.
North Branch Construction recently announced that Susane Gilbert, project manager and principal of the firm, has been appointed as an alternate member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire and Vermont board of directors. In addition, Christopher Mulleavey, a project superintendent at the firm, has been appointed as vice-chairman of the ABC NH/VT Young Professionals board.
G.M. Roth Design Remodeling has been honored with the 2025 “Most Unique Project” Cornerstone Award from the New Hampshire Home Builders Association (NHHBA), which recognizes innovation, craftsmanship and home design excellence. The winning project showcased a custom home spa suite, designed to transition seamlessly from the home gym to a series of therapeutic environments including a full sauna, steam room, deep-soaking tub and shower, and a circulation path.
MARKETING
BridgeView Marketing, a Portsmouth-based digital media agency, announced that its PR Rosetta Stone platform has received Gold within the Hermes Creative Awards and recognition in the 32nd Annual Communicator Awards for AI-enabled PR measurement and communications intelligence, winning alongside brand names such as Disney, Pepsico, Syracuse University and Marriott. The international competition honors excellence in traditional and emerging media, and is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
ARTS & CULTURE
At the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, two new exhibitions – “Danny Lyon: The Bikeriders” and “Together, Apart, Away: Snapshots from the Peter J. Cohen Collection” – are now on view through August 16, 2026. Manchester Harley-Davidson is sponsoring the Danny Lyon exhibit, which features photographic images of Lyon’s journey with the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle Club and tells the story of a new form of participant journalism. Two custom motorcycles provided by Manchester Harley-Davidson, and designed by local motorcycle legend Fish Tank, are also included in the exhibition.
New Hampshire Public Radio and the Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth (The Hop) have partnered on a new program, The Hop Sessions, that brings together performances and the voices of world-class arts from The Hop stage and onto the airwaves. Through a series of conversations, select Hop artists will reflect on their creative processes and share stories behind what you see onstage. You’ll also hear music from their live performances at The Hop. Series episodes aired on May 8, 15, 22 and 29.
The Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum has opened for the 2026 season with expanded accessibility improvements and programs highlighting Native American history, art and culture. The main exhibit is “Quills & Beads: Adornment that Adapts,” curated by Sterling Gross, features rare pieces on public display for the first time. In addition, the Medicine Woods Trail — an outdoor walking path featuring plants traditionally used by Native peoples for food, medicine and craft — is now fully accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. Renovations to on-site restrooms and pathways have also been completed to better serve visitors of all abilities.
NONPROFITS
Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. (SMHC) has appointed Hannah Shanty, CFA, to its board of directors. Shanty is currently a principal at Vigilant Wealth Management in Portsmouth, where she works with clients as a portfolio manager and research analyst.
Bring Back the Trades (BBTT), a NH-based nonprofit dedicated to closing the skilled trades gap, has launched a collaboration with Designer Draperies of Boston, a resource for high-quality window treatments and soft furnishings. The Textile Tool Program initiative will award one Boston-area public high school with two commercial-grade industrial sewing machines and a semester of professional mentorship. The program aims to move students from beginners to intermediate-level proficiency in industrial sewing, focusing on commercial grade fabric handling and technical design interpretation.
The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests has welcomed Jeremy Lougee as its new vice president for land conservation, charged with overseeing the organization’s land protection and easement stewardship programs. He was previously the regional conservation partnership program manager for the Land Trust Alliance.
In February, John Knorr joined the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP) in Exeter as the new executive director. The SVDP is a food pantry and community assistance center that serves the communities of SAU 16 (Exeter, Stratham, Newfields, Brentwood, Kensington and East Kingston), which supported over 400 households in 2025.

Castle in the Clouds recently welcomed Joseph Raboin as its director of buildings and grounds. He brings 25 years of experience working in facilities maintenance in Boston and the surrounding area, having been responsible for the care of luxury high rises, high-end hotels, residential communities and superstores.
New Hampshire Boat Museum’s the “Miss Lauren,” a replica 1928 Hacker-Craft boat, will exclusively be docked at Lake Winnisquam this summer for tours exclusive to guests at The Lake Estate on Winnisquam in Tilton. According to Joe Ouellette, director of sales and marketing at The Lake Estate, the addition of the “Miss Lauren” elevates the guest experience beyond a typical stay and creates a connection to New Hampshire’s lakeside heritage.
Aroma Joe’s has opened its newest location at 700 Mast Road in Goffstown, owned and operated by franchisees Rob and Tracy Hanson. The new shop will feature its handcrafted beverages in the new 1,200-square-foot location that offers both a drive-thru and mobile pickup.

Easter Bank Senior Vice President Yongmei Chen has been promoted to commercial group director of community development lending. She succeeds Pamela Feingold, who served in the role until her passing on March 16, 2026. Chen has over 30 years of banking experience, and has held various leadership positions since joining Eastern in 2007. She specializes in lending to nonprofit organizations, particularly for affordable housing and economic revitalization projects.
New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), a mutual holding company, has elected nine new corporators, elected by their peers: Beth Daniels, CEO of Southwestern Community Services; Rob Dapice, executive director and CEO of New Hampshire Housing; Deirdre Fitzgerald, communications manager at W.S. Badger; Andrew Keefer, associate director of operations finance at Raytheon; Christopher McKay, partner at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts; Jeff Murphy, owner of Brewbakers Café and Terra Nova Organic Coffee Roasters; Barbara Pelkey, an accounting and marketing executive at Atlas Fireworks; Chris Weiss, president of Crest Auto World; and Jeff Whitcomb, president of Communicators Group.
Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) has announced the retirement of Maurice “Moe” Lafreniere from its board of directors. Lafreniere joined the MVSB board of directors in 1988 and has served for 38 years, including time in leadership roles, providing guidance that helped shape the Bank’s governance, growth and commitment to mutual community banking.
Kathy Powers has been named branch and business development manager of the Windham branch for Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack). Powers joined The Merrimack in 2023 as a universal banker in Hooksett, and most recently served the Bank’s Nashua location as branch and business development manager.
Back in March, NHTrust promoted Janelle Sartorio to senior vice president, senior wealth advisor. In this expanded role, Sartorio serves as a senior fiduciary officer, collaborating with the firm’s Wealth Management team to support its clients. She holds the designation of certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA), and is a member of the NH Estate Planning Council.
ENGINEERING
TFMoran, an engineering and surveying company in northern New England, has announced that Robert Duval, PE, will be stepping down as president effective July 1, 2026. He joined TFMoran as chief engineer in 2003, and has served as president since 2013. Nick Golon, PE, will become TFMoran’s next president and chief engineer. He joined TFMoran in 2005 and currently manages the firm’s Civil Engineering Department. He has been a principal of the firm for the last six years.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire has appointed Mary Cain Tripod, DHA, FACHE, as its new chief operating officer (COO). A health care executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience, Dr. Tripod will now serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, overseeing operations across the organization’s network of approximately 30 early childhood and out-of-school-time programs and a team of nearly 200 staff members. She will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission, optimizing operational performance, and supporting continued growth across central and northern New Hampshire. Dr. Tripod recently earned her doctorate in health care administration from Central Michigan University, where her research focused on advancing women into executive leadership roles. She also serves as an adjunct professor at New England College, teaching graduate-level courses in health informatics, leadership, cybersecurity and health care technology. She resides in Hopkinton.
