Silver Lake firm has answer to airline regulations

After personally experiencing the aggravation sparked by recent airline regulations governing liquid or gel-based carry-ons, the owners of a Silver Lake business have made it possible for travelers to have complete personal-care kits delivered and waiting for them at their destination hotel, office or residence, eliminating concerns over airline confiscation.

“Easy Travel Kits” are available through Barclay Crocker Inc., distributor of shaving and bath products from around the world.

The kits, created for both men and women, contain a full week’s supply of everything from name brand toothpaste and four-blade razors to earplugs and dental floss. Deodorant, conditioning shampoo, dental floss and mouthwash also are included, as are bars of Italian bath soaps.

Men’s kits contain shoeshine wipes and after shave while women’s kits include make-up and nail polish removers, hair spray and clothing wipes.

“It’s all the little things you need,” said company spokesperson Hunt Barclay. “Frankly I think these kits will really fill a need.”

Delivered price for each kit is $26.95. Overnight delivery is available for an additional $19.95.

Barclay said Sky Mall will begin featuring the Easy Travel Kit beginning in January.
