Presstek directors join iCAD board
Two businesmen with close ties to Hudson-based Presstek have been named to the board of directors of iCAD, the Nashua-based developer of imaging systems that detect cancer.
Named to the iCAD board were Steven Rappaport, a partner with RZ Capital LLC, and Lawrence Howard, general partner of Hudson Ventures LP, have been named to iCAD’s board of directors.
Rappaport — who currently serves as an independent director and audit committee member of Hudson-based Presstek Inc. — has been a partner of RZ Capital, a private investment firm, since 2002. Before that, he was director, president and principal of Loanet Inc., an online real-time accounting service that was acquired by SunGard Data Systems in May 2001.
General partner of Hudson Ventures since 1997, Howard was a founder and has been a director of Presstek, where he served in various roles from October 1987 to June 1993, when he stepped down as chief executive officer.
