Pharmacists’ association, college team up

The New Hampshire Pharmacists’ Association has announced a partnership with the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on continuing education programs.

The college has a satellite campus on Elm Street in Manchester.

“This is a natural fit that will really benefit New Hampshire pharmacists and their customers,” said Gary Merchant, president of the NHPA. “With the college’s expertise on the latest developments in pharmacy practice, we will now be able to give our members the best continuing education available.”

“We are very excited to be partnering with the NHPA,” said Katherine Keough, executive director of government affairs and continuing education for MCPHS. “By combining the resources of the college and the NHPA, we will be able to offer the most comprehensive, up-to-date education for pharmacists across New Hampshire.”

The New Hampshire Pharmacists Association enables pharmacists to have the ability to provide pharmacy care through coordinated services and collaborative practice with other health-care providers and encourages dialog relating to pharmacy practice and disease state management. — CINDY KIBBE
