PC Connection sales rise in first quarter
PC Connection Thursday announced that net sales increased by more than $56 million in the first quarter.
The Merrimack-based company said sales increased by 17.5 percent to $380.5 million, with net income for the quarter at $1.7 million, or 7 cents per share.
Acquisition of key assets of Amherst Technologies was credited with $27.3 million of the increase. Net sales for the first quarter 2005 were $323.9 million, while net income for that period was $0.9 million or 4 cents per share. Gross profit margin was up nearly one percent during the first quarter. – TRACIE STONE
