Merrimack-based PC Connection Inc. reported that net sales for the third quarter ending Sept. 30 rose $44.1 million to $415.2 million.
The results mark an 11.9 percent increase from $371.1 million reported for September 2005.
Third-quarter net income rose by 128 percent to $4.4 million, or 17 cents per share, compared to third-quarter 2005 net income of $1.9 million, or 8 cents per share.
The company also saw growth in gross margins of all its business segments for the third consecutive quarter. Gross profit for third quarter 2006 was up 21.5 percent from the same period in 2005.
Net sales for the first nine months of 2006 increased by $158.1 million to $1.2 billion, marking a 15 percent increase over last year’s net sales of nearly $1.1 billion reported for the same time period.
Net income for the first nine months of 2006 was $9.2 million, or $.36 per share, compared to $4.4 million or $.18 per share for the same time period 2005. – TRACIE STONE
