New Presstek product honored
Presstek, the Hudson-based printing manufacturer, was awarded the Golden Product award at the September trade show in Bratislava, Slovakia, the company announced Wednesday.
The award recognized the Presstek 52DI as the most innovative new product at the show. Presstek claims that the digital press can print some 10,000 impressions per hours — up to three times faster than a conventional press, and it reduces the number of steps and labor involved in the process. The press also is able to print on thin board and plastic.
“People were amazed by its print quality, speed and ease-of-use,” said Stan Najmr, director of the company’s digital program. – BOB SANDERS
