HHS keeps Texas firm to manage child support payments
The state Department of Health and Human Services has renamed Dallas, Texas-based Affiliated Computer Services to manage the state’s child support payment services.
ACS has been providing child support services to New Hampshire since 1998.
“We have been extremely pleased with the performance and technological expertise of ACS,” said Mary Weatherill, director of child support for the state’s Division of Child Support Services. “We anticipate continued success and even better performance with the enhanced customer services provided under the new contract.”
The new contract includes child support payment processing and electronic payments, as well as full-scale banking through subcontractor Citizens Bank, child support disbursements, insufficient funds check handling, coupon printing and outreach to encourage the use of electronic payments. – CINDY KIBBE
