Small-business owners and managers will get a chance next week to meet with some of the state’s top officials to discuss issues affecting their companies.
Small Business Day at the State House will feature appearances by Gov. John Lynch and a panel discussion about education funding with House Speaker Terie Norelli, Senate President Sylvia Larsen and the governor’s legal counsel, Mike Delaney.
An additional discussion reviewing the latest in health-care transparency efforts and disaster and pandemic preparation will also take place.
Public Service of New Hampshire is sponsoring this year’s event, which will be hosted by the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire, the state Small Business Development Center and 20 other local chambers of commerce and business associations.
The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Holiday Inn, Concord.
Admission is $15 for BIA and chamber members and $25 for non-members.
