Don’t forget DividedWeFail
To the editor:
During the New Hampshire primary, you may have seen DividedWeFail’s purple mascot “Champ” on signs, on television, online and in print ads. Champ, our special elephant/donkey cross, has become a symbol of bipartisanship across the country.
We would like to thank the elected officials who have endorsed our efforts to address, in a bipartisan fashion, two of our nation’s most critical domestic issues – creating policies that ensure access to affordable, quality health care and financial security for all Americans.
AARP, Business Roundtable, Service Employees International Union and National Federation of Independent Business are four membership organizations that often find themselves on opposing sides of issues. But the looming crises in health care and financial security have motivated them to join forces through DividedWeFail.
Thank you to AARP members, volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly in the months leading up to primary day, asking tough questions of presidential candidates, posting signs, and educating people about the DividedWeFail platform.
The presidential primary may have come and gone, but our work in New Hampshire continues. With your help, we can put an end to the partisan politics that is stalling our country. Visit DividedWeFail.org to review our initiative, or call 603-621-1018.
