Businesses sought for Molex job fair

Businesses seeking skilled and qualified employees have been invited to take part in a New Hampshire Business Resource Center job fair, scheduled later this month at the Molex facility in Gilford.

More than 140 Molex workers are expected to be displaced by the plant’s closing. Their skills are, ranging from molding, stamping and assembly to administrative/clerical functions to supervisory and production. A listing of the jobs held by the Molex workers is available upon request.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Molex facility located at 4 Aviation Drive, Set-up time begins at 9:30 a.m.

According to officials, interested businesses can bring display materials, tabletop booths and job applications – tables and chairs will be provided to all exhibitors as well as power, if needed. Employees will be prepared to fill out job applications on site. Participation in the event is free of charge to any interested company. Free lunch will be provided to all company representatives in attendance.
