Businesses sought for Inclusive Job Fair
Businesses have been invited to take part in the Governor’s Commission on Disability’s Inclusive Regional Job Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, in Concord.
The fair, designed to assist workers with disabilities to secure employment with local companies, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the National Guard State Armory at 4 Pembroke Rd.
Employers interested in participating will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses and to meet with hundreds of potential new employees with excellent work ethics and skills. Participating businesses also will get the opportunity to receive answers to questions ranging from “What Are Reasonable Accommodations?” to “What Tax Incentives Are Available?”
Businesses interested in taking part in the fair can bring display materials, tabletop booths and applications – tables and chairs will be provided to all exhibitors. along with power, if needed. Applicants will be prepared to fill out job applications on site. Participation in the Job Fair is free of charge to any interested company – free lunch will be provided to all company representatives in attendance.
The fair is being presented with the help of the New Hampshire Business Resource Center, New Hampshire Employment Security/NH Works, the New Hampshire Division of Personnel and the New Hampshire Division of Vocational Rehabilitation’s Concord Regional Office.
