Deadline for nominations for New Hampshire Business Review’s 2006 Business Excellence Awards is more than two months away, but entries area already coming in for the fourth annual event.
The awards are presented annually by New Hampshire Business Review to recognize owners and top executives of outstanding small businesses and not-for-profit organizations – those with 100 employees or fewer.
The awards will be presented to businesses in 14 different categories: business services; construction; financial services; health care; hospitality; law; manufacturing; media and marketing; non-profit; public service; real estate; retail; technology; and transportation.
“Small business is at the heart of New Hampshire’s economy, which remains the pacesetter for all of New England,” said Jeff Feingold, editor of New Hampshire Business Review. “The Business Excellence Awards provide an opportunity to recognize outstanding achievements among the thousands of hard-working small-business owners and their hundreds of thousands of employees.”
Feingold said the awards’ goal is to recognize the winners’ “imagination, industriousness, innovation and achievements.”
Nomination deadline for the 2006 Business Excellence Awards is Friday, Aug. 26. Winners will be recognized at an Oct. 11 evening reception at The Events Center at C.R. Sparks in Bedford.
