Bottomline buys Chicago firm

Bottomline Technologies, a provider of payments and invoice automation software and services, has acquired Chicago-based Visibillity Incorporated, a provider of legal e-billing solutions specializing in the insurance industry.

The acquisition of Visibillity further bolsters the Portsmouth company’s position as a leading provider of Web-based legal spend management services to the insurance industry, officials said.

The acquisition gives Bottomline a number of large clients, including CNA Insurance, Employers Mutual Casualty Company and RiverStone Group. – NHBR STAFF
