Bodi named president of ad firm

Mark Bodi, a longtime principal in the advertising agency Griffin Bodi & Krause, has been named president of the Manchester-based firm and Travis C. York, an executive with the firm for the past year, has been promoted to executive vice president and managing director.

“The moves are designed to meet the needs of an evolving advertising environment and allow GB&K to offer the widest range of relevant services to our local, regional and national clients,”said the firm’s chairman and CEO , Patrick W. Griffin. “With Mark as president, along with Travis as managing director, I am confident that GB&K is poised to not only build on that growth, but to further develop integrated, experiential advertising services that will prove essential to the continued success of our clients.”

Bodi has more than 25 years of experience in advertising and banking in New England. York is a Bedford native and has served as GB&K’s senior vice president for inntegrated marketing. Previously, he was employed by Euro RSCG Worldwide in its Boston office.
