Former 2nd District Congressman Charlie Bass has joined the Manchester-based law firm of Devine Millimet as a senior adviser.
The firm announced Thursday that Bass will be working to expand its “capacity to deliver strategic advice and consulting services to the public and to the corporate, non-profit municipal and individual clients of the firm.”
Alexander Walker, Devine Millimet’s president, said that, Bass’ hiring is “another step our firm is taking to meet the increasingly complex issues our clients face and to provide them with the most comprehensive, knowledgeable and experienced professionals available.”
Bass, who represented New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District from 1995 through 2006, served as a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and as vice chairman of the Telecommunications and Internet Subcommittee.
Before being elected to Congress, he was a member of the state Legislature and, later, the Senate. – JEFF FEINGOLD
