VA clinics to remain open Friday

MANCHESTER – Most federal agencies will be closed Friday to honor the memory of President Reagan, who died Saturday. But the government is making an exception: Veterans Administration outpatient clinics will be open to accommodate veterans requiring health care.

The Manchester Veterans Administration Medical Center is urging veterans to keep their Friday appointments at the medical center, in Tilton, or Portsmouth. Those requiring further information about primary care appointments may call 1-800-892-8384 or 624-4366, Ext. 3199. For information about specialty clinic appointments, call Ext. 6968.
