EMS Week open house planned for May 22

MERRIMACK – The Ambulance Rescue Service Auxiliary and Merrimack Fire Rescue, in celebration of Emergency Medical Service week, are sponsoring an EMS open house May 22.

The event will take place at Merrimack Fire Rescue Station 1, at 432 Daniel Webster Highway, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Throughout the day, there will be EMS demonstrations, including automobile extrication, advanced life support, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator instructions.

Visitors will also have the chance to meet EMS professionals, tour the station and view the apparatus.
