Employers sought for UNH career fair

Employers looking for students in engineering, technology, physical sciences and business are invited to take part in an October 18 career and internship fair at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

The fair, is sponsored by the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire, will offer employers an opportunity to meet undergraduate and graduate students interested in obtaining internships and jobs after graduation. More than 400 students are expected to attend. Employers also will have the opportunity to meet faculty to learn more about industry trends and staffing needs.

Before to the fair, the Whittemore School of Business and Economics and the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences will host networking coffee receptions for employers interested in informally connecting with students and faculty from their colleges.

NH home prices climb toward $600,000

Inching closer to an unprecedented $600,000 threshold, the median price of a single-family home in New Hampshire reached an historic high of $580,000 in July. After what appeared to be a possible leveling off period at the beginning of the selling season, home prices surged in July to the $580,000 mark, up from $575,000 in June, up from $560,000 in April, and up from $549,700 in July of 2025. That’s a one-year jump of 5.51%.
