Francisco Partners to buy Vitronics Soltec

Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity fund, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Vitronics Soltec from Dover Technologies International, a subsidiary of Dover Corporation.

Stratham-based Vitronics Soltec, a supplier of soldering technology for the electronics manufacturing and assembly industries, will continue operation under its current management team Francisco said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

New York-based Dover Corp. last week announced is plan to acquire Markem Corp., the privately held manufacturer of product identification technology that’s based in Keene. – JEFF FEINGOLD
