New state law empowers homeowners with ‘balcony’ solar panels
With a new state law set to go into effect with the dawn of a new year in 2027, Granite Staters will be able to install so-called “balcony solar” panels for home use.
Anthem N.H. receives ‘excellent’ rating
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire, as well as other East Region Wellpoint plans, have received an “excellent” accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance — the highest rating the committee offers.
The NCQA accreditation process evaluates how well a health plan manages quality throughout its organization and entails a four-month process that includes a review of materials and documentation for member access to care and services that is both timely and appropriate; physicians’ qualifications; use of preventative services; and management of chronic conditions for members with such illnesses.
The New Hampshire unit also received the highest available rating in each of the following critical review categories: provider access and service; qualified providers; and appropriate care and preventative services. – CINDY KIBBE
