30th travel conference set for the Balsams

The 30th annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism is planned for May 15-17 at the Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in Dixville Notch.

Sponsored by Public Service of New Hampshire and presented by the New Hampshire Travel Council, the three-day conference will feature a keynote speech by Jim Miller of Jim Miller & Associates whose topic will be, “The Economy is Strong … So What is the Problem?”

Also scheduled to take part is Valecia Crisafulli of the Center for Preservation Leadership National Trust for Historic Preservation, who will speak on “The Boomer Market: Redefining Tourism.”

A plenary session will be offered featuring Ted Eubanks of Fermata Inc., who will discuss “experiential tourism.”

Throughout the three-day event, exhibitors will display their products and services.
