Program to focus on O&D liability

As part of its newly announced series of educational programs on corporate governance for board members and CEOs in the Manchester area, the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors will host, “Officer and Director Liability – Is It Too Risky to Be a Director?”

The program, to be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, will feature a panel discussion that will address the environment that both directors and officers operate in under new regulations, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and will examine best practices for managing director and officer liability risk.

Panel members for the first program are: Neil Castaldo, a partner in the Health Law Practice Group at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP and senior partner in the firm’s Concord office, and David Goldstein, vice president of Willis Group and adviser to clients on matters pertaining to directors and officers liability, fiduciary liability, employment practices liability and professional liability insurance.

The program will be moderated by Wayne Wilson, principal of Wayne Wilson & Company, a business advisory services firm providing executive coaching and advisory services to owners/CEOs of middle-market companies.

The program, sponsored by Citizens Bank, will be presented at The Event Center at C.R. Sparks, Bedford.
