Pennichuck declares quarterly dividend
Pennichuck Corporation might be locked in a war with the city of Nashua to hang on to its water system, but its stockholders are doing just fine.
The company on Tuesday declared a quarterly dividend of 16.5 cents per share, payable on Dec. 1. That remains unchanged from the previous quarter and would result in an annualized dividend rate of 66 cents.
During the second quarter of 2005, the company approved a 2.3 percent cash dividend increase and a stock split in the form of a 33-1/3 percent stock distributions. Both were effective with the June dividend payment. — NHBR STAFF REPORT
