Man charged in ax attack on neighbor

(AP) – A Manchester man is recovering after police say his neighbor attacked him with an ax.

Michael Ceichon was treated at Elliot Hospital for a cut on his hand. His neighbor Robert Pelletier, 33, was in court Friday charged with second degree assault.

According to police, Ceichon heard a noise in the hall and opened his apartment door, then saw Pelletier approach him with an ax. The two men struggled over the ax until Ciechon wrested it away, police said.
