Communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church
Pamela G. Wassung, 43, of 12 Woodward Road, Merrimack, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at her home after a battle with breast cancer.
Mrs. Wassung was born Nov. 17, 1960, in Holyoke, Mass., daughter of Robert Guz of Windsor Locks, Conn., and Martha (Croto) Hoynoski of Montgomery, Mass. She was a resident of Merrimack since 1986.
She was the wife of Edward Wassung of Merrimack.
Mrs. Wassung was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Merrimack. She also taught CCD classes and was a member of the church folk group.
She graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield, Mass., in 1978. She received an associate’s degree in human services from Asnuntuck Community College in Connecticut.
Besides her husband and parents, survivors include two sons, Matthew and Daniel Wassung, both of Merrimack; a daughter, Katherine Wassung of Merrimack; two brothers, Robert Guz of Austin, Texas, and Christopher Guz of Springfield; and a stepmother, Victoria Guz.
The George R. Rivet Funeral Home in Merrimack is in charge of arrangements.
