I-95 median barrier: $4.6M project approved after NH highway deaths
A nearly $4.6 million contract has been awarded for the construction of a five-mile median barrier on Interstate 95 in New Hampshire with the goal to prevent highway deaths.
David Araujo, a top executive at Digital Federal Credit Union in Massachusetts, has been named the new president and CEO of Service Credit Union.
Araujo succeeds David Van Rossum, who stepped down on Aug. 1 from the post after two years at the helm of New Hampshire’s largest credit union.
Andrew McGeorge, Service Credit Union chief financial officer, had been serving as interim president and CEO of SCU.
Araujo has more than 20 years of financial services experience, most recently serving as senior vice president and chief technology and innovation officer at Digital Federal Credit Union in Massachusetts.
“The board is confident David is the right person to build on the credit union’s momentum,” said Joanne Whiting, SCU’s board chair. “He is a seasoned leader with significant experience working with credit unions implementing innovation and delivering value to members. We are lucky to have him as our next CEO.”
Araujo will be joining the credit union by late January 2019, the credit union said.
