Two top executives of Derry-based Cedar Point Communications have been named to the 2006 “CableFAX 100” list.
Andy Paff, 54, company president and chief executive officer, and Mark Dzuban, 59, vice chairman, were named to the 35th spot on the list, which each year recognizes leading broadband industry executives.
The magazine said it recognized Paff and Dzuban for their success in transitioning the telecommunications company into profitability and maintaining that profitability for four consecutive quarters. “As far as vendors go, Cedar Point seems to hit heavier every year,” the editors noted.
Michael Gregg, CableFAX executive editor, said the 2006 list was more “sectional” than in years past with companies leading the way in youth-related technology filling the top ten spots and being followed by this year’s most influential distributors, big programmers and technology vendors. Names of “the rest of the heavy hitters” made up the remainder of the list. — TRACIE STONE
