With a new state law set to go into effect with the dawn of a new year in 2027, Granite Staters will be able to install so-called “balcony solar” panels for home use.

One of the directors of Nashua-based Curative Health Services has stepped down from the company’s board.
On Nov. 21 Peter M. DeComo, co-founder of Renal Solutions Inc., a hemodialysis solutions provider based in Pittsburgh, Pa., announced he would leave Curative’s board of directors in order to devote his time to other business endeavors. He said the decision was “not due to any disagreement with the company or its management,” according to a press release issued by the firm.
DeComo was elected to Curative’s board of directors in January 2004.
Company officials have not said if he will be replaced.
The wound and infusion supplies manufacturer has been plagued by months of steadily mounting debt, largely stemming from changes in Medicare reimbursement, lawsuits concerning improper billing practices at affiliated pharmacies and alleged fraud by one of its key executives.
