NH firm among winners of national Tibbetts Awards
Celdara Medical honored by SBIR/STTR programs
Lebanon-based Celdara Medical is among the 32 winners of the 2015 Tibbetts Awards, which recognize companies, individuals and organizations for their “exemplary” roles in the federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs.
The winners will be formally honored in Washington, D.C., on June 15 at a White House ceremony. They’ll also be taking part in the June 16 kickoff of the National SBIR/STTR Conference, where thousands of the best and brightest in the innovation ecosystem convene annually.
Named for the late Roland Tibbetts, widely accredited as being the “father” of today’s SBIR/STTR programs, the awards are presented by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Celdara, co-founded in 2008 by Jake Reder and Michael W. Fanger, is headquartered at the Dartmouth Regional Technology Center in Lebanon, NH. The company works with inventors and institutions in bringing to market academic and early-stage innovations in medical care.
