Pitco scraps plan for new Concord factory
A long-discussed plan by Pitco to build a huge manufacturing facility in Concord has been scrapped, with the company focusing instead on its existing two sites in Bow and one in Pembroke.
Manchester site eyed for condos
Brady Sullivan Properties says it plans to build either residential condominiums or a new office tower on part of the eight-acre parcel at 1750 Elm St. in Manchester.
Brady Sullivan bought the 12-story tower, formerly known as the New Hampshire Insurance building, for $15 million in April. A parking lot covers much of the parcel.
The company said sales of condominiums at nearby Hampshire Tower went so well, it became clear that there would be demand for more residential space in the area. He told The Union Leader plans could include a 12- to 14-story residential tower or a new office tower.
The 1750 Elm tower will soon undergo a name change, along with the exterior renovations already under way.
Sullivan said the “New Hampshire” atop the building will be replaced by “Brady Sullivan Tower.”
