A long-discussed plan by Pitco to build a huge manufacturing facility in Concord has been scrapped, with the company focusing instead on its existing two sites in Bow and one in Pembroke.

The New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits has joined with New England College in Henniker to offer a new area of concentration – nonprofit leadership — in NEC’s Master of Science in Management program.
The new concentration will be an offering in NEC’s Master of Science in Management-Organizational Leadership programs.
Starting in September, classes will be held one evening a week at the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits’ new conference space at the Concord Center, 10 Ferry Street in Concord. Each term will run seven weeks and includes an Internet supplement.
Organizational management, strategic planning, human resources, fund-raising and financial management will be the basis of this cohort model.
