Tree blocks traffic on Robinson Road
HUDSON – Police were forced to shut down a portion of Robinson Road on Monday after a tree fell across the road.
The “fairly healthy” 10-foot tree snapped at about four feet and fell from a nearby yard across the road blocking both lanes of traffic, Hudson police Sgt. Donna Briggs said.
The tree fell at about 4 p.m. in the area of Stonewood Drive, Briggs said.
The road was reopened at about 5 p.m. after highway crews removed the tree, she said.
