Town Democrats elect officers
WILTON
At a recent caucus, Wilton Democrats elected the following officers:
Hal Melcher, president; Gail Proctor, vice president; Joan Melcher, secretary; and Brian Sullivan, treasurer.
Member Andrew Fairbank will attend the New Hampshire State Convention as a delegate.
On Sunday, May 2, the group will hold an open event at the Wilton Public Library-Gregg Free Library to discuss work for the upcoming elections, identify issues of local interest, and introduce the Wilton Democrats new Web site.
Former state Sen. Deborah Pignatelli will also be present.
Pignatelli is running against incumbent David Wheeler for Executive Council.
