Bedford-based TFMoran Inc. has continued to expand its footprint with the acquisition of Steffensen Engineering Associates Inc., a structural engineering firm in Auburn.
According to Paul Sbacchi, TFMoran’s chief structural engineer, the acquisition process began after Peter Steffensen, the firm’s president and founder, announced his retirement last year after more than 40 years as a structural engineer.
Sbacchi said that Steffensen’s two project managers, Stephen Richard and Louis Cote, have joined TFMoran’s our structural team.
He said Richard and Cote have over 60 years of combined experience in the design of various building types, including educational, commercial, industrial, residential, multi-family and renovation projects.
Last February, TFMoran acquired Portsmouth-based MSC Engineers.
