Safran wins $304m Army contract, Colby-Sawyer chooses FirstLight … and more

Safran Optics 1, Bedford, has been awarded a $304 million firm-fixed-price, multi-year U.S. Army contract for the Laser Target Locator Module II. The funding source and work location for the contract will be determined with each order. The Target Locator Module I is part of the Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder, a crew-served, man-portable, modular target locator and laser designation system.

Five hospitals in New Hampshire have been named to the list of “America’s Most Wired” hospitals in recognition of their adoption of information technology to enhance clinical performance. They are: Concord Hospital; Exeter Health Resources; New London Hospital; Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont; and Wentworth Douglass Hospital, Dover.

The hospitals were chosen based on a survey conducted between Jan. 15 and March 15.
