MILFORD – Jeff Shapiro, a nationally rated judge of stamps and an instructor for the American Philatelic Society, will be the guest speaker at the June meeting of the Purgatory Stamp Club in the Milford public library.
Shapiro’s talk is titled, “Common Stamps, Uncommon Usages,” and is based on an exhibit that has toured nationally. Shapiro, a winner of several gold medals from national philatelic groups, is also an expert on German inflation issues.
Purgatory Stamp Club meets each month at the Wadleigh Library, 49 Nashua St., just west of the Milford Oval.
