Seacoast Chambers ready joint expo

“Bridging the Seacoast,” the annual Seacoast Chambers Business Expo, will be held Oct. 27 at Flextronics at Pease International Tradeport.

The event will be kicked off with a noon luncheon featuring keynote speakers Gov. John Lynch of New Hampshire and Gov. John Baldacci of Maine who will discuss “A Focus on the Future.” Following the luncheon, more than 120 local businesses will highlight their offerings during a trade show running from 1 to 7 p.m.

Also during the afternoon, several workshops will be offered on security, technology innovations, marketing and small business development opportunities. From 5 to 7 p.m., members of area chambers of commerce will participate in a giant business after hours with food provided by the Governor’s Inn of Rochester, Spring Hill of South Berwick, Maine, Weathervane Seafoods of Kittery, Maine, and the Granite Rose and Clambake Charlie’s of Exeter. A cash bar will be provided by the Galley Hatch Restaurant.

Bay Ring and Daystar will host a free Internet café for vendors and attendees. For convenience and comfort, Feliciano Limousine will provide shuttle service between the parking lots during the expo.
