Rights or self-interest?
To the editor:
The stakeholders in the human rights industry are:
1. The lawyers who profit from it so predictably that plaintiff cases are uniformly accepted on contingency.
2. The lobbyists who support it.
3. The regulatory bodies whose employees, jobs depend on it.
4. Those plaintiffs who game the system.
5. Employers, who lose whether they win or loose.
How in the world has every pro-business group in the country failed to reform this system?
