Cobb Hill’s two projects, Foxfire buys cleaning firm … and more
Concord-based Cobb Hill Construction has begun work on two projects — a renovation for the dental offices of Drs. Greene and Torio in Nashua and a new pediatric dentistry office in New London.
The renovation of Dr. Greene and Dr. Torio’s office is an expansion of current space. The project includes the demolition of the space directly under their current office, which will add an additional 2,500 square feet of space.
The pediatric dentistry office in New London is a renovation of an existing 3,000-square-foot dental office.
The Cleaning Guy LLC of Goffstown, owned by Kevin Larmand, has been acquired by Stephen Duprey of Foxfire Property Management Inc. of Concord.
Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors, a subsidiary of Raymond-based Jewett Construction, recently erected the structural steel for a new Unitarian Universalist Church in Brunswick, Maine.
Construction on the new 9,000-square-foot structural steel church began in mid-September. The project included erecting conventional steel, preparing the base metal decking for roof installation and welding on 58 posts for solar roof panels.
Poly Recovery, a Portsmouth-based recycling company, has added another 15,000 square feet of space at its Pease International Tradeport facility and will use it to add washing and sorting machinery for used scrap plastics. The company said $1.5 million expansion will enable the firm for the first time to handle such items as returnable drink bottles.
Sharon Sargent, a kitchen and bath designer at G.M. Roth Design Remodeling, Nashua, recently received Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer certification from the National Kitchen & Bath Association.
The Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter recently reached its goal to raise $2 million to renovate the former VFW Hall on Quincy Street, Nashua. The project will begin in March and the expected move will take place in September.
