Keene State’s new nursing program lab, hardwood production facility in Grantham, new principals at North Branch … and more

Engelberth Construction Inc. of Keene has completed a new nursing simulation and skills lab for Keene State College's newly accredited nursing program.

The former computer lab in Rhodes Hall was converted into a simulation lab that consists of two intensive care hospital rooms with a shared control room and a nursing fundamentals lab, which includes five hospital beds equipped to mimic a general hospital, complete with high-tech mannequins, a nurse’s station, general exam area, classroom area and an office.

A debriefing room and storage area round out the training facility, which was designed by Lavallee Brensinger Architects of Manchester.

 

G.H. Evarts & Co. Inc.’s new 22,000-square-foot hardwood production facility in Grantham has been completed by Goffstown-based Langley Construction. The new facility is cast in place concrete, wood and steel construction. Equipment was provided by HMC Corp. of Hopkinton.

 

Granite State Express Care and Granite State Lab have signed leases for locations at 120 Washington Place, a new mixed-use retail office building in Rochester, being built by Groen Builders of Rochester. Staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants, Granite State Express Care will provide treatment for common family illnesses and injuries, administer vaccinations, and conduct physicals and wellness screenings.

Chris McInnis, of Paul McInnis Inc. is the leasing broker for 120 Washington Place.

 

Project Manager Joseph Campbell and Project Superintendent Christopher Galbraith, both of Hillsboro, have taken on roles as principals of North Branch Construction Inc., Concord.

Campbell, a LEED- and ASHE-certified constructor, has been with the firm for over 16 years.  His recent projects include Southern New Hampshire University’s new Tuckerman Hall Residence Hall in Hooksett and the historic renovation of the Sugar River Mills Apartments in Claremont.

As a project superintendent, Galbraith, who began his career at North Branch in 2005 as a carpenter, has overseen jobs that include the interior fit-up of Fresenius Dialysis Clinic in Dover and the manufacturing plant upgrades at Sig Sauer in Exeter.

 

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, Raymond, has completed interior and exterior renovations to the Herb Chambers Jaguar and Land Rover dealerships in Sudbury, Mass.

Designed by Regent Associates Inc., the project was completed in under 10 weeks and included the renovation of 6,000 square feet of shared showroom and office space.
