Concord-based North Branch Construction has begun renovation of Sig Sauer’s manufacturing plant and office building at its former Exeter headquarters. North Branch recently completed construction of a state-of-the-art testing facility and upgrades to the manufacturing plant at the new location of the firearms manufacturer’s headquarters in Newington.
RBS Citizens Financial Group, parent company of Citizens Bank, has made a commitment to provide $1 billion in funding for affordable housing and community development projects over the next five years. The bank said the loans and investments made through the program are part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to provide communities with innovative products and services to support community stabilization and economic health. The RBS Citizens community development initiative launches with more than $85 million in loans and equity investments already committed for 2013. While none has been made thus far in New Hampshire, RBS Citizens officials stressed that the program has only begun.
Chamberlain Companies Inc. of Salem recently completed a project at Bedford Medical Park, a multi-tenant medical office building owned by ASC Realty LLC. The sale of 2 W. Otterson St. to 33 Legends LLC was recently announced by Mark Prolman and Lisa Morrison of Prolman Realty, Nashua, who represented the seller, Otterson Street Realty LLC. The buyer intends to operate REO Machine out of the 8,400-square-foot building. According to the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds, the selling price was $335,000. Prolman also recently announced it has been chosen to market For Sale 99 and 101 Perimeter Rd. by Stein Realty LLC. The property, at Nashua Municipal Airport at Boire Field, consists of 8,880 square feet of office/R&D space and 10,702 square feet of hangar space. Price is $1.45 million.
National shoe store chain Famous Footwear has opened its 30th location in the Boston market, this one in Bedford, N.H. The 4,960-square-foot store is located in the Bedford Mall.
