Jackman reports six transactions, S.W. Cole opens new subsidiary in N.H. … and more

Jackman Commercial Realty Inc., Manchester, has announced over 32,000 square feet of transactions.
• Some 8,700 square feet of high-bay industrial warehouse space at 15 Tinker Ave., Londonderry, was leased to Northeast Nursery Inc. of Peabody, Mass.
• Bonding Source Inc. has leased 2,700 square feet of combined office and warehouse space at Perimeter Rd., Manchester.
• At 3 Perimeter Rd., some 13,000 square feet of office and workshop space was leased to LGC North America Inc.
• At 793 Somerville St., Manchester, the 1,800 square feet formerly occupied by Not So Plain Jane and Jewell and the Beanstalk and has been leased to Cosi Bella Salon and Spa.
• Fahmah Jackson LLC has leased 3,600 square feet of office and warehouse space at 78 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett, and Flip City/FCSA Xtreme has leased 2,900 square feet of mostly open warehouse space at the facility.
S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc., a geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and geo-environmental services firm with offices in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, has formed a wholly owned subsidiary, S.W. Cole Explorations LLC. The new company will support S.W. Cole’s geotechnical engineering and geoenvironmental projects by performing test boring explorations.
The new company will service S.W. Cole’s projects throughout New England from its base in the Manchester area. Kevin Hanscom, a geotechnical engineer who has worked for the firm in the Bangor, Maine, office for more than 20 years, has been named general manager. Working with him is Bob Marcoux, who has 30 years of experience as a drill operator performing geotechnical and environmental test borings.
Renovation of the Baker Free Library in Bow is set to begin in March with the first of a two-phase renovation plan.
Phase 1 will focus on addressing accessibility issues as well as creating the Bow Heritage Room, a small meeting room and two group tutoring rooms.
The construction management team includes Cobb Hill Construction and architect H.L. Turner.
