North Branch breaks ground for Red Oak project, Lakeport mixed-use project begins … and more

The mixed-use development, scheduled for completion in the fall of 2022, will also include corporate headquarters for Red Oak and co-working offices spaces. North Branch Construction of Concord is overseeing construction. Architect is Dennis Mires P.A. of Manchester and civil engineer is Keach-Nordstrom Associates of Bedford. In addition, JSN Associates of Portsmouth is providing structural engineering services. mechanical and plumbing services are provided by Design Day Mechanicals Inc. of New Ipswich, and Electrical Systems Engineering Inc. of Derry is providing electrical engineering services.
Fremont-based Jewett Construction Company has hired Mike D’Anjou as a project manager. A certified Project Management Professional, D’Anjou has been in the construction industry for two decades. Jewett also has hired Alyson Phillips as an assistant project manager. She previously worked as a project coordinator at Boston-based Shawmut Construction.
The Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate construction of the Mathey Center for People and Nature at Burley Farms in Epping. The new center will serve as SELT’s permanent headquarters and will feature office and programming space to increase the group’s nature-based engagement. SELT is partnering with construction manager Chapman Construction/Design and Sheldon Pennoyer Architects on the two-story wood-frame building.
Paugus Properties held a ceremonial groundbreaking in May for its mixed-use project at 51 Elm St., Lakeport. This 50,000-square-foot building will feature retail space, apartments and condominium units along with a parking garage. The job site is around the corner from Paugus’ recently restored Lakeport Opera House event venue.

Catholic Charities NH has hired Jeff Lefkovich as its executive director of real estate and senior living development. He will oversee strategic development and planning of senior housing and living communities as the organization seeks to expand its senior living services programs. Lefkovich most recently was a managing member, real estate development for Heritage River Village Development LLC in Griswold, Conn.
Bank of New Hampshire held a groundbreaking ceremony in Bedford for the Bank’s newest office at 32 S. River Rd. in Bedford. The new location will replace the current Bedford branch at 256 Wallace Rd.
Ledyard National Bank has donated $5,000 to support Vital Communities, an organization that seeks to strengthen the Upper Valley’s local economy, including workforce housing initiatives, Ledyard also donated $2,000 to support LISTEN’s community dinners program/
Prolman Realty Inc. has announced the sale of 76 Northeastern Blvd. Unit 36, Nashua, by MYRELL LLC to Bray Office Properties LLC. The 2,400-square-foot office condominium at the Northbridge Business Center will be occupied by Willowdale Counseling Center. According to The Hillsborough Country Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $167,500.
The O’Halloran Group, Keller Williams Lakes and Mountains Realty, New London, held its second annual virtual Ultra 1K road race throughout the month of May, raising $15,000 to support Kearsarge Lake Sunapee Community Food Pantry, Newport Food Pantry and Warner Connects NH Food Pantry. The event featured four race routes, and participants could complete the challenge any time during May for a chance to win several prize giveaways.
