Jewett completes One Hundred Club renovations … and more

Broadway Hospitality Group, the company that operates the Tavern in the Square restaurant chain will be opening an eatery in the Market and Main mixed-use development in Bedford. Tavern in the Square restaurants can be found throughout New England, and Joe Arcari, president of Broadway Hospitality, called the Bedford site “the ideal New Hampshire location.” The new agreement follows a commitment from Regal to open an 11-screen theater at the development.
Jewett Construction recently completed work on the One Hundred Club in Portsmouth. The 2,800-square-foot renovation and fit-up included interior renovations at the private membership club. The project included a complete gut and renovation of the bar and private event area. The entire space is full of completely custom finishes and custom millwork. The bar facade is encased in custom metal panel and detailed ceiling work. A new function room and private event space allows for members to host networking events and celebration dinners.
John Hoyt, executive director of Concord Housing + Redevelopmenthas been named to the board of trustees of the Public Housing Authorities Directors Association, based in Washington, D.C. PHADA has about 2,000 member housing agencies representing 1.9 million low-income housing units across the United States.
Concord-based Sanborn, Head & Associates has announced that Colleen Costello has joined the firm as a senior vice president, based out of the firm’s Philadelphia office.
