Brady Sullivan adds to Manchester portfolio, Valentine Group deals, North Branch, Cobb Hill, TRB news … and more

Brady Sullivan Properties has purchased the 26,000-square-foot building at 228 Maple St. in Manchester from CJN Realty LLC. The firm is currently undertaking major renovations to the top three floors and all of the common areas in the building and has completed two lease transactions, one with National Able and the other with Credit Adjustments, totaling over 9,000 square feet.

 

The Valentine Group has announced the lease of two office suites at Landmark Crossing in Londonderry. Victoria Gorveatt has opened the first location for Neuropathy Comfort Center of New England in 1,525 square feet. Krista and Tom Rojic have opened Premier Physical Therapy at Landmark Crossing in a 1,465-square-foot suite. The Valentine Group represented the landlord, Landmark Crossing LLC, in both transactions.  The firm also recently announced the sale of 153 W. Hancock St. in Manchester. The brick 12-unit building features all two-bedroom units. Sale price according to tax stamps was $925,000. The new owners plan to upgrade the common areas, and to upgrade each unit as tenants turn over, Valentine said. Valentine represented the buyer, Hancock Apts. LLC in the transaction.

 

Bruce Blazon of Concord, vice president and principal of North Branch Construction, has moved from his position in field operations into a project management and estimating position at the company’s Concord headquarters. He is currently managing a renovation of Sig Sauer’s former headquarters in Exeter.

 

Cobb Hill Construction has completed construction at ProQuip Rental & Sales’ new 6,200-square-foot facility on Dover Road in Chichester. The new building utilizes a Rigid steel frame with a wood exterior and energy-efficient construction technology, including special foam-sandwiched roof panels that provide a high-level of thermal resistance and improved air-flow.

 

TRB Development Group Inc., Hooksett, has begun renovations and additions to Wholistic Pets Organic Pet Foods in Bedford, an addition to Imprints Day School in North Hampton, and an addition to Andover Corp.’s facility in Salem. The architect for the three projects is Schopf Design Associates of Salem, Mass. In addition, TRB recently completed a new 14,826-square-foo CVS Pharmacy in Woburn, Mass., for Compass Realty Associates LLC. BKA Architects of Brockton, Mass., provided design services.

 

Jewett Automotive Design & Construction, Raymond, has contracted with the Herb Chambers Companies to work on both interior and exterior renovations to its Jaguar and Land Rover dealerships in Sudbury, Mass.  The project, designed by Regent Associates Inc. of Westborough, Mass., includes the interior renovation of 6,000 square feet of shared showroom and offices.

 

Wilton-based ROK Builders LLC will remodel the lobby and public areas of the Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill in Fishkill, N.Y. The project is slated to begin on Nov. 1 and is scheduled to be completed in February 2014.

 

Rebecca Perkins, an associate at the Concord law firm Orr & Reno, has joined the board of directors of the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast. The coalition is an education and outreach initiative that hosts public forums and trainings to highlight solutions to the region’s housing challenges, provides municipalities with research and technical assistance to improve local housing policies and provides developers with information and data to advance workforce housing projects.
